Iron & Wax: Forge Black

Forge Black is the color of the workbench after the forge has cooled.

For darkening, aging, and marking the work.

A mixture of black iron oxide, beeswax, and rendered tallow prepared in small batches at The Stout Hearth.

Useful for leather goods, journals, wax seals, tool rolls, and other artifacts of the guild.

Every workbench keeps a tin somewhere.
